AML Group
AML is
a small mortgage brokerage firm with around 20 staff. Asterisk IT provided
AML with a small Asterisk installation, replacing an existing Commander system
as well as on going support. Asterisk IT helped AML save money by
replacing their existing Analog lines with a cheaper Digital connection to
Telstra. The Asterisk PABX is also connected to a VoIP service provider who
provides un-timed national calls.
AML
also took advantage of
AsterFax to provide each of the company directors with a private fax line.
Every staff member now has a direct-in-dial (DID) number with Voicemail
delivered to their existing email inbox. The provided solution also includes a
UPS (backup battery) for the Asterisk PABX and each handset using Power Over
Ethernet (POE), so the phones keep ringing even during a power outage.
AML
also operate a number of different brands with associated 1300 numbers.
Each brand now has its own greeting and staff are informed of which line the
call is through by displaying the appropriate brand on the phones display
screen.
